A winter wedding in Indianapolis set the stage for a day filled with intention, emotion, and timeless beauty. The celebration began with a meaningful ceremony at Saint Mary’s in downtown Indianapolis, where classic architecture and soft winter light created a reverent, romantic atmosphere.

In the hours leading up to the ceremony, the couple chose not to see each other, preserving the anticipation of the aisle moment. Instead, they exchanged handwritten letters, reading one another’s words privately before heading to the church. This quiet, intentional gesture allowed them to feel deeply connected while still honoring the tradition of waiting to see each other for the first time during the ceremony.

Planned thoughtfully by Emily Ventura Designs, every detail of the day felt cohesive and refined. Anne Grey Flowers created florals with a pastel palette and organic movement, adding a soft, romantic contrast to the winter setting.

Following the ceremony, guests gathered at the The Grand Hall for an elegant and welcoming reception. One of the most touching moments of the evening came during a heartfelt speech from the father of the bride—an emotional tribute filled with love and reflection.

As the night continued, the celebration came alive with music by Endless Summer Band, keeping the dance floor full and the energy high. The day concluded with a festive streamer exit from the church, a joyful send-off that perfectly captured the spirit of the celebration.
